Chris is the owner and founder of Red Dog Construction. He has 12 years of commercial & residential construction experience (followed by 15 years of being a farrier). Returning to construction In 2019, Chris started Red Dog Construction. His company offers general contracting services, framing, excavation, and various other services.

Tate started working at Red Dog Construction in 2020 after 3 years of farming. Since then he has been promoted to “assistant president” and self proclaimed “best employee”.

Austin joined the Red Dog Team in early spring 2021. He brought along 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience. Since then, he has gotten certified by the State of South Dakota for Water & Sewer Installation. When he’s not operating equipment he’s swinging a hammer with the rest of the crew.

Tygh has been with us since the Fall of 2021. He brought with him 4 years of carpentry experience. He is a twin to the “assistant president” and a great asset to the company.

Jeremy, brother to the Bookkeeper, brother-in-law to the owner, and uncle to the marketing director. He is newest addition to the Red Dog family and brought along with him 15 years of experience.

Tori works with us over the summers. Currently, she is an elementary teacher for the Tea School District. She is a fantastic teacher, and we can’t wait to see her back in the summers.

Amy is the bookkeeper ( and wife to Chris ). All of the employee’s know that Amy is the actual boss because she is the one who signs their checks.

Hi! I’m Holly. I’m the head (only person) of the graphic design team here at Red Dog Construction. I handle all of the web design and branding. I have my associates degree in Media Design Technology from STC & also own H Photography & Design.

Our namesake, Red Dog. We rescued Red in 2013 when he was 2.5 years old. He is a German wire hair pointer who loves to hunt, lay in front of the fireplace, and take naps (kind of like Chris).
