Red Dog Construction is a locally owned, family business that prides itself on providing quality building services. Our mission is to create unique, custom designed builds for all our customers. Red Dog strives to give the same attention to detail no matter the size of the project.
About Us
The start of it all
Chris Richards, the owner of Red Dog, started out framing houses in 1995 in the Pacific Northwest. After four years of residential construction Chris took a job working commercial construction building warehouses, hotels, schools and other large projects. While working commercial construction Chris started as a journeyman carpenter and eventually worked his way up to foreman.
A New direction
In 2006 God took Chris and his family in a different direction. Chris went to school to learn the farrier trade and spent the next 14 years running his own horseshoeing business. During that time he built a few custom homes, buildings and other projects. His love to create and build things was still there.
Back to his roots
In 2019 Chris felt led to go back to construction, and that decision has been blessed. Red Dog Construction, Inc. was born! It started with just Chris and his desire to build. After a few years the crew, which feels like family, has grown to four full time employees alongside Chris. Please take a look at the photo galleries to see a sample of Red Dog’s work.
